Ann Simons is the wife of British billionaire and business magnate Alan Sugar. The two have been married for 50 years. Alan Sugar is a politician, political adviser and media personality who appears in the BBC Tv series ‘The Apprentice’. He was also the chairman and part owner of Tottenham Hotspur from 1991 to 2001. In 2007 he sold his remaining stake in the club. He is a member of the House of Lords Temporal and was knighted in 2000, becoming Lord Alan Sugar.

He found success in 1968 when he founded Amstrad – which began as a wholesaler before specialising in consumer electronics. He later sold it to BSkyB for a whopping £125 million.
He also accumulated his wealth being the former owner of Tottenham Hotspurs football club, which he bought in June 1991. Ten years later he sold his stakes for a deal of £22 million. He later sold the remaining 12% share for £25 million.
