Ashley Estes Kavanaugh is an American former political aide and public official born on 11th April 1974 in Abilene, Texas. She is serving as the Town Manager of Chevy Chase Section Five, Maryland. She previously served as the personal assistant of former president George W. Bush.

Ashley Kavanaugh worked in the White House during George W. Bush presidency as his personal secretary. She had previously worked for Bush as his personal assistant when he was the governor of Texas (1996 – 1999). She was also the personal assistant for the Bush-Cheney presidential campaign (1996 – 2000).
Ashley currently (2018) serves as the town manager of the Village of Chevy Chase Section 5 in Maryland. She was appointed in the position by the Town Council, the village comprises of 227 houses and one restaurant.
Ashley Estes Kavanaugh Husband
In 2004 Ashley married Brett Kavanaugh, United States circuit judge of the United States Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit. They met in 2001 when they were both working for the Bushes.
“We met in 2001 when we both worked at the White House. Our first date was on September 10th. The next morning, I was a few steps behind her when the Secret Service shouted at all of us to sprint out the front steps of the White House because there was an inbound plane. In the difficult weeks that followed, Ashley was a source of strength, for President Bush, for everyone in this building,” Kavanaugh said.
Their wedding was featured in ‘The Washingtonian’ column ‘Weddings of the Rich and Famous’. President Bush and First Lady Laura Bush were in attendance.
