In 2020 Vardy appeared in a sex scene, the video was a clip of her and her boyfriend whose an amateur footballer, Aaron Adam. The video was part of a parody of Queen classic I Want to Break Free. The scene was part of one of the segments Adama and his friends used to raise money for NHS Charities Together’s Covid-19 appeal. The film was posted on Adam’s Twitter profile and the Club’s Facebook page with the message: ‘So here it is. Four weeks of lockdown… no football… and this is what happens.’ The video was later edited and reposted it was now with the journalist’s bed scene removed. Vardy later removed the clip and accepted it was inappropriate but was intended to be light-hearted.
