Emma Watson (Emma Charlotte Duerre Watson) is an English actress, model, and activist. She was first known for acting the role of Hermione Granger in the Harry Potter film series.

She was honored in 2014 by the British Film and Television Arts Academy, winning the Year’s British Artist. She was also named as UN Women Goodwill Ambassador the same year and helped to launch the HeForShe UN Women movement, which promotes gender equality.
