He is most notably known for hosting a number of shows on Fox News such as Cashin’ In on Fox Business Channel and The Five on Fox News Channel. He now works for Newsmax as a television show host.

In 2008, Bolling was selected a co-host of Happy Hour, a market commentary show in the 5 p.m. time slot, with Cody Willard and Rebecca Diamond. After co-hosting Fox Business Channel’s Follow the Money with Bolling, he took over as host of Cashin’ In in 2013, succeeding Cheryl Casone. The show aired on Saturdays. Bolling also co-hosted The Five on Fox News Channel.

He questioned President Barack Obama’s choice to meet with Gabon’s president, Ali Bongo Ondimba, in the White House in June 2011 on Fox Business Network. Bolling said, “Guess who’s coming to dinner tonight? A dictator.” Eric appeared as a guest host on numerous Fox News opinion programs, including The O’Reilly Factor and Fox & Friends.

Fox announced in April 2017 that The Five will be relocating to the 9 p.m. time slot as part of the prime-time roster adjustments after Bill O’Reilly’s departure. Eric joined Katherine Timpf and Eboni Williams as co-hosts of Fox News Specialists, which took over the 5 p.m. time slot from The Five. The show debuted on May 1, 2017, but was canceled after Bolling left the network. In August 2017, Bolling was suspended from Fox News following allegations of Sexual harassment.

Bolling joined Newsmax as the host of an hour-long afternoon program, Eric Bolling The Balance which premiered Wednesday, July 28, 2021, and airs every weekday thereafter from 4 to 5 p.m. ET.
