Kayleigh McEnany was named as the new White House press secretary on April 7, 2020. She is an American spokesperson, political commentator, and writer. She is a former CNN contributor and the former national press secretary for Donald Trump’s 2020 presidential campaign.

Kayleigh is a stunt supporter of President Donald Trump. In August 207 she joined Real News Update which is a pro-Trump news show that she hosts on Donald Trump’s Facebook page. In February 2019 she was appointed as the National Press Secretary for the Donald Trump 2020 presidential campaign.

In October 2019 while appearing on Fox News she said of Democrats’ impeachment investigation: “First, it was Russia. Now it’s Ukraine. There will always be something because this is a coup against a sitting president. Not an impeachment inquiry.” In August while appearing in an interview with CNN’s Chris Cuomo, she insisted: “He doesn’t lie. The press lies.”

On April 7, 2020 Kayleigh McEnany was appointed as the new White House press secretary replacing Stephanie Grisham, who had only been in the position for nine months and was the first press secretary in modern times never to hold a formal briefing for reporters.

Kayleigh McEnany Mastectomy

In 2008 McEnany underwent a prophylactic bilateral mastectomy at Moffitt Cancer Center to reduce her risk of getting breast cancer by 95%. This was after learning that she carried the BRCA2 gene, which meant she had a nearly 70 percent higher risk of developing breast cancer than a woman without the gene.

In 2010 had breast implants as a way to prepare for the eventual mastectomy. During that procedure, her doctor left a cavity that would expand with time. So when the breast tissue was removed during her mastectomy, McEnany kept the implants, eliminating the need for reconstructive surgery.

Kayleigh McEnany Coronavirus

In February 2020 during an appearance on Fox Business Network Kayleigh said, “We will not see diseases like the coronavirus come here.”

She credited Trump for putting America first. “This president will always put America first. He will always protect American citizens. We will not see diseases like the coronavirus come here. We will not see terrorism come here. And isn’t that refreshing when contrasting it with the awful presidency of President Obama?”
