Hipgrave began her career as a radio presenter working for Manchester radio station Galaxy 102 as the presenter of the breakfast show. She later joined Radio 5 Live as a travel reporter. She co-hosted the Saturday morning show on Radio 5 Live from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. with Danny Baker until July 2016, and she has also hosted with Eamonn Holmes and Christian O’Connell.
Lynsey began working as a presenter for Al Jazeera’s English-language sports channel (Al Jazeera Sports +3) in 2010, with Gary Lineker, for their Champions League programs. She co-anchored Al Jazeera’s coverage of the World Athletics Championships, as well as the US Open Tennis Final, WTA Championships, and Asian Games, with Colin Jackson and Denise Lewis.
On Challenge Jackpot, she formerly hosted Setanta Sports News and Roulette Nation. In 2009, she was a guest on BBC Three’s World Cup’s Most Shocking Moments. She was a contributor to Euro’s Most Shocking Moments in 2012, a follow-up program to the earlier World Cup program that featured a video from the European Championship of football.
Hipgrave hosted ITV4’s coverage of the Europa League, including Newcastle United’s quarter-final match against Benfica at St. James’ Park, in 2013 and broadcast various African Cup of Nations games for the channel.
