Nina Warhurst is a British journalist and News Presenter. She works at BBC as the Business Presenter and Consumer Correspondent for BBC Breakfast. Before joining BBC, Nina worked at ITN Productions as a News Presenter and reporter.

Warhurst did her first non-freelance job in Moscow, Russia in 2005. She worked there as a news desk producer for the network “Russia Today”. She went back to United Kingdom where she had a short period as a reporter at BBC East Midlands where she presented East Midlands Today. Nina covered the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil for BBC Sport. in June 2014.

She made her comeback in Manchester where she became the Political Reporter for BBC News North West. It was during this time that she won the 2016 Royal TV Society award for the “Best Regional Journalist.” In the course of her career, Nina has interviewed political like England’s Prime Minister Theresa May and socialist leader Jeremy Corbyn among others.

In 2018, Warhurst began freelancing reporting for BBC Breakfast and later became a relief presenter when regular hosts were absent. She will take over as BBC Breakfast’s primary business presenter in October 2020, following Steph McGovern.
