SMark Lamb is Pinal County’s top law enforcement officer., Lamb was elected as the 24th Sheriff of Pinal County On January 1st, 2017. He leads differently as compared to those before him. He is regularly seen embodying the persona of the “American Sheriff,” complete with jeans and a cowboy hat.
He says that s one of the few jobs where you can dress like this, He previously wore his boots when he had a job on a dairy which he considers his favorite job.
Born and raised in Hilo, Hawaii. His dad was a graduate of Thunderbird Business College (Thunderbird School of Global Management) and the family had been living there for a long time. His father actually went there originally and was a potato farmer in Puako on the Big Island. But Their business primarily was scrap metal, so as a kid, Lamb spent a lot of time doing scrap metal.
When he was 11 years old his family moved to the Philippines for a year before they moved back to the usa settling in Chandler, Arizona.

This Cowboy’s Hat Raffle was created after Sheriff Mark Lamb of Pinal County, Arizona participated in a Lip Sync Challange, performing Chris Ledoux’s “This Cowboy’s Hat.” The video became so popular, he decided to raffle off his hat in order to raise money for the charity. The raffle was a great success, and since then, Sheriff Lamb can’t seem to keep his hat.
