Career
At the age of 14 he was an editor for Harrow High Scool school magazine, The Gayton Times. At age 15 he became a general news reporter for the Harrow Observer and started a monthly glossy town magazine at age 17.
At the age of 18 he became the Britain’s youngest “Page One” reporter when he
moved on to the ‘Daily Mail’. In 1963 he moved to the United States, he wrote
for several American newspapers, including New York Daily News, People and
Ladies’ Home Journal, before launching ‘GO Magazine’ in 1967 and then became
show business editor of ‘The Star’.
He joined television as a regular contributor to AM Los Angeles, with Regis
Philbin & Sarah Purcell on KABC-TV. He also also worked as a reporter for People
Tonight, on CNN and Entertainment Tonight. He helped start Good Morning
Australia, as well as the Food Network.
In March 1993 he hosted an exposé documentary of Madonna — Madonna Exposed — for the Fox network. He also hosted the Lifestyles spinoff Fame, Fortune and
Romance, along with future Today Show host Matt Lauer.
In 2007 he hosted ‘The Surreal Life: Fame Games’ on VH1. During the 2010 NASCAR Sprint Cup race at Las Vegas Motor Speedway he was the public adress announcer.
From 2008 through June 2016 he wrote for the Las Vegas Sun and the daily VegasDeluxe.com website.

In 2002 Robin began dating Joan Severance, who is 17 years Robin’s junior. Joan Severance is an actress and model. She started modelling at the age of 18 with John Casablancas and Elite models in Paris. She has been in mant TV Commercials and posed for the cover of Playboy in 1990.
Joan’s first major role was on Wiseguy as Susan Profitt. Since then she has appeared in many films which includes See No Evil, Hear No Evil (Eve),Bird on a Wire (Rachel), Wicked Wicked Games (Anna Whitman) and Masters of Sex (Leona).
Robin Leach Death
Robin Leach died on Friday, 24th August 2018, after being hospitalized since
Nov. 21 following a stroke.
Sad to report the death of famed celeb reporter, friend and colleague #RobinLeach @ 1:50 a.m. in #LasVegas. He would have been 77 Wednesday. He suffered a second stroke Monday. He in hospice care. He’d been hospitalized since Nov. 21, after suffering a stroke in Cabo San Lucas.

His family released a statement saying;
“Despite the past 10 months, what a beautiful life he had. Our Dad, Grandpa,
Brother, Uncle and friend Robin Leach passed away peacefully last night at 1:50
a.m. Everyone’s support and love over the past, almost one year, has been
incredible and we are so grateful. Memorial arrangements to follow. With love,
Steven, Gregg and Rick Leach.”
