Carole pregnancy was filled with a lot of rumors; according to Serial Killer Shop, Carole had smuggled a condom to Ted who then filled it with necessary genetic material and passed it back to her.
When Carole was asked about the conception by the press she reportedly said it was none of their business. Carole and her daughter visited Ted until 1986. The visits reportedly put a great deal of stress on the family as Ted was on’death watch’. During this time Ted had confessed to more than 30 gruesome murders, however, it is believed he committed many more.
When Rosa was about four or five years Carole decided to cut ties with Ted completely. According to Ann Rule novel ‘The Stranger Beside Me’- one of Bundy’s colleagues at the suicide-prevention hotline, it details that Boone had divorced Bundy prior to his 1989 execution.
Rosa Bundy Now/ Rosa Bundy Today
Following the death of Ted, Carole and her daughter reportedly changed their names in search of privacy. Speculations surrounding Rose Bundy has never faltered. According to a forum on Life on the Row, it suggests that Abigail Griffin, a mother who lives in Oklahoma is Rose Bundy.
Ann Rule who wrote “The Stranger Beside Me”, the book about Ted Bundy, pointed about in the book that uinvasion of privacy was a main issue while writing about Carole (Ted’s ex-wife) and Rosa (Ted’s daughter). In a 2008 reprint of the book she wrote: “I have heard that Ted’s daughter is a kind and intelligent young woman but I have no idea where she and her mother may live. They have been through enough pain.”
On her official website she wrote: “I have deliberately avoided knowing anything about Ted’s ex-wife and daughter’s whereabouts because they deserve privacy. I don’t want to know where they are; I never want to be caught off guard by some reporter’s question about them. All I know is that Ted’s daughter has grown up to be a fine young woman.”
In 2016 a user on Life on the Row wrote: “I won’t say much to protect their privacy, but Bundy’s daughter DOES use Facebook. Jamey Boone (Carole’s oldest son) has a FB page, which is linked to Carole’s FB page, which you can find her daughter through (her daughter and Jamey aren’t friends on FB). Her name isn’t Sadie or Rosa/Rose and she doesn’t live in Washington. Carole remarried after Ted, and her daughter took her stepfather’s name. She has grown into a loving and intelligent human being who works in special needs and is a mum to an adorable daughter. Just goes to show that at the end of the day, genetics aren’t worth a penny.”

Rose Bundy Mother (Carole Ann Bone)/ Ted Bundy Wife
Ted Bundy allegedly proposed to and legally wed Carole in court amid his 1980 trial for the abduction and murder of 12-year-old Kimberly Leach. It is alleged that Carole, just like many of Ted’s victims, was drawn to Bundy’s quiet intellect and good looks when they met while working at the Washington State Department of Emergency Services in the early 70s.
Carole was once married and had a teenage son, Jamey. According to “The Only Living Witness: The True Story of Serial Sex Killer Ted Bundy,” Carole said of the interaction:
“I liked Ted immediately. We hit it off well. He struck me as being a rather shy person with a lot more going on under the surface than what was on the surface. He certainly was more dignified and restrained than the more certifiable types around the office. He would participate in the silliness partway.”
While Carole and Ted were colleagues they merely engaged in a friendship. Ted and Carole began talking to each other in earnest during Ted’s 1977 trial in Florida. He began writing letters to Carole which were full of promises and professions of love, as well as pleads of innocence.
Carole testified as a character witness on Bundy’s behalf on more than one occasion, and allegedly went on to assist Bundy’s 1977 escape from prison by smuggling cash into prison during her visits according to Rolling Stone.
Ted proposed to Carole during the proceeding of his trial for Kimberly Leach’s murder and kidnapping. Carole accepted the proposal and Ted declared Carole and himself were officially married. Ted as a la student knew that an old Florida statue would allow him to declare marriage in front of a judge, and it would have to be recognized.
